Spiritless New Fashioned

- 2¼ oz / 67 ml Spiritless Kentucky 74
- ¼ oz / 7 ml simple syrup (or Spiritless Horse’s Kick ginger syrup for more bite)
- 3 dashes All The Bitter aromatic bitters
- Orange peel
Combine in a double rocks glass and add ice. Zest the orange peel over the glass and drop it in. The producer specifies a 0.0% bitters brand by name here — the only major alcohol-free producer we found that does. Worth calling out.
Alternate producer spec: 2 oz Kentucky 74, ½ oz simple syrup, 3 dashes Angostura, stirred with generous ice. Note this version is not 0.0% because of the Angostura — see the bitters trap above.
